Yearning for Summer

We’re moving through March, one of those tricky months in New England.  We stand prepared to brave another wintry storm and cold temps – our boots, hats, mittens, coats and woolen sweaters at the ready – even as signs of spring are just beginning to pop through, signs of hope. Friends have told me they are weary of winter. My brother Anton Tutter recently posted a status update to Facebook to that effect, accompanied by a selection of photos of his summer bike trips in the Catskills, in areas surrounding Zelený Les. I couldn’t resist the temptation to share these as-of-yet unpublished images. Anton (aka somervillain) writes about his rides and the scenic routes he’s developed on these Catskills byways – check out his guest blog posts (somervillebikes) on http://ridingthecatskills.com
